Fast Growing Board Manufacturer Welcomes David Rush as New CEO
Orlando, FL – WatersEdge SUP announced today that David Rush has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. The fast growing, Made-In-The-USA paddleboard manufacturer is excited to welcome David and expects to benefit greatly under his leadership. Already one of the largest paddle and surfboard manufacturers in the country, Rush is expected to draw on his management expertise and reputation as a competitive SUP racer to build on the company’s successful foundation, and propel continued growth.
A second-generation Floridian, David is a graduate of The University of Florida. Early in his career he gained a reputation for capably managing staff to complete large, complex hospital, hotel and commercial construction projects on time and within budget. David is passionate about the paddleboard industry. As a WSUPA certified instructor and avid paddleboard racer, he has created an extensive network of relationships with fellow paddlers, board manufacturers, shapers, designers, race promoters, paddleboard excursion operators, retailers, and vendors across the country.
David’s love of the sport is a family affair. His fifteen year old son is also a sponsored team rider, and competes regularly across Florida as an elite class racer. As CEO of WatersEdge, Rush will draw on both his management skills and SUP background as the company continues to develop distinctive, high quality SUP product.
