When you think of New Hampshire, surfing usually isn't the first thing that comes to mind in the home of the Granite State. Two forward thinking individuals, Laurie & Rob Greer, have taken their dream of NH surfing and made it possible through the American Wave Machine technology.
April 2nd, 2016 marked the first ever indoor Wakesurfing competition in the USA. The event was held at Surf's Up NH & Sky Venture's facility located in Nashua, NH. Their facility houses a 32' Surfstream that is the only one in the US, and has the ability to create a multitude of unique waves that will quickly have any form of surfer addicted and wanting more.
Wake surfers from around the nation made the trek out to New Hampshire to put their skills to the test on different waves, while competing for their part of the $5000 prize! Check out the recap video to see all of the fun times!
