A great short by Charles Coleman capturing the essence of an endurance paddle event, in this case, the premier endurance race, 31 miles through the Tennessee Gorge at this year's Chattajack in Chattanooga.
Chattajack31 is a 31 (ish) mile race from Downtown Chattanooga to Hales Bar on Nickajack Lake. It consists of around 200 paddlers (SUP, kayak, prone, surf ski, & canoe). The river gorge is beautiful and quite an experience to witness. When Ben Friberg spoke with me about this year's Chattajack race I decided to go for a more cinematic look to share the experience of the event.
