A day before competing at World's on Lake Las Vegas, Korina Smyrek took a little trip out to Lake Mead to enjoy the scenery and catch some airs.
"Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the US and it looks so beautiful with its crystal blue color surrounded by rocks in the desert of Nevada and Arizona. It was very impressive to see the Hoover dam from the boat. The combination of the colors from the water and the rocks is so intensively when the sun is going down - incredible! It is a passion from me to have one great shoot on every lake or river I ride in my life. I was just free-riding in the sunset and catching the right moment for this GoPro picture. I am really thankful to have the chance to ride on this beautiful lake and doing what I love - wakesurfing." -Korina
