Surfers & River Surfers from all over the world traveled to the small city of Cascade in central Idaho to Kelly Whitewater Park to surf on the standing wave in the Payette River. The top names in river surfing showed up to showcase their talent at the Payette River Games coming all the way from Germany, Brazil, Hawaii, and Canada to take a shot at the $5000 prize. Blind surfer Derek Rabelo from Brazil came out and surfed the river wave like a champ! Kai Lenny jumped on his board and showed just how versatile of a waterman he truly is. Check out all the awesome surfing that went down in the middle of the USA on a river!

You might have heard about the GoPro Mountain Games, but there is a new up and coming water sports event that is gaining world wide recognition! The Payette River Games located in Cascade Idaho. It is the largest cash prize for kayaking and SUPing anywhere. You can watch it live right now on their website. We have the privilege of shooting video for Boarders Magazine at the event. Today is the last day of the event, and the show is already in full swing! Check it out online, or if you are in the area, come on up and bring your SUP boards or kayaks and enjoy the Kelly White Water Park! Spectators are free and there is food, games, and lots of fun.
